My Birthday

Yes, I know I am getting old. Can you believe it?? I am half-way to 50!!! Holy smokes! The one thing I wanted to was race at the MoKan Drags. So, my dad, honored my wish and let me race the red roadster. Let me tell you, that was the most exillerating things I have ever done. Look at the track from the side line a quater of a mile doesn't seem that far. It is completely different being behind the wheel. It is a complete rush once you get down to the finish line. Well, I didn't win, but I will say I did one hell of a burn out on the track! Here are some pictures to show you.

The Roses

I never thought I would start a blog, but guess what??? Look what I did! I thought it would be great to have something for our friends and family to see, and to help keep in touch. I love to take pictures and tell stories, and this is the perfect to share those special treasures.

Well... now where to start. Lets talk about my husband. Jeremy has been incredibly busy, and sometimes it feels like he is a figment of my imagination. Just kidding... he has been very busy
with the "move" at his work. He recently became a Claims Supervisor for the Kansas Medical Assistance Program at EDS. Since then he has been working like mad to help with the move to their new location. I think he is pretty excited about, but more so to get it over with.

Next off, my son, and the other love of my life. As of now, he is 3 1/2 years old, and goes non-stop. Its crazy once they turn 3 they are a different kid. He loves to help around the house, and understands his rules. Don't get me wrong, he still likes to push his boundaries just like any other 3 year old. Bradyn will start up football the beginning of September, and then it gets very busy. Right after football there is soccer, basketball, and swim lessons. I thought that I would have a little bit longer until I became a "Soccer Mom," but my son thinks otherwise. Oh well, that is the joys of being a mother. Watching you son's face light up when you tell him that will be him in a week practicing out there on the football field.

Last, but I guess not least is me. I am still working at Heartland Crop Insurance, and like it. I am still attending college classes, and someday... someday... I will be done. I don't have an exact date, which is probably a good thing. That way I don't get overwhelmed about the time frame. I will get there sooner or later. :) I still enjoy scrapbooking when I have the time to devote to it. So far, my past times are taking and editing pictures... like I said this is perfect for me to show off my favorites.
I hope that you enjoy this... it is a trial thing. We will see how much time I have to devote to it, but I am going to do my best to keep it updated. Let me know what you think about it, and please post comments. Thanks for taking a look!
