New Baby: Well, after all the hustle and bustle of the Holidays we could finally focus on the new arrival to the family. It is neat because on one side I was going to be an Aunt again and on the other I was welcoming another cousin to the family. The funny part... it was the same baby. lol... I know weird right how many people can say their nephew is also their 2nd cousin? Well, I can! Lacie (my cousin) and Mathew (my brother-in-law) were welcoming a new addition to their little family. Gavin Wayne Rose was born on March 27th. Such a precious little bundle of joy. Here are some pictures of one of the baby showers and of baby Gavin.

New Years: Well, usually we are traveling to Kansas City to ring in the new year with Holly and Jason, but this year was different. We decided to bring it in at our house! We had a lovely time. Holly Jason, Mathew, and Lacie all came over and we had our snacks and adult beverages. For some reason, I didn't figure it out until the next day, but I was the only girl drinking adult beverages. Lacie, of course, was carrying a little baby boy in her tummy. Holly, was holding a surprise in her tummy. So... with that... exciting news came out the fowolling day. What memorable New Years. Holly is have another baby!!!!

Christmas: YEAH!!! I just love this time of year. I love getting up the day after Thanksgiving and going black Friday shopping! It so much fun! This year was a very blessed Christmas. We were able to see all our family (happy and healthy) and enjoyed it so much. Bradyn just thought Santa was the coolest guy ever this year. I think that is why I truly love this holiday. I tell you what it makes a parents heart melt when you see your child's eyes light up on Christmas morning. Well I got to tell a story about this little boy on Christmas morning. He did everything he was suppose to the night before. He put out Santa's cookies and milk, and was a VERY good little boy. We all went to bed and about 3 am Bradyn woke mommy and daddy up CRYING!!! He said Santa didn't come! (all the lights were off downstairs and he couldn't see I am guessing) So, we told him to lay back down and try to go to sleep. Daddy snuck downstairs to start the fire and turn on the lights to the tree. Boy, you should have seen his face when he woke the 2ND time! Of course Bradyn wanted to hardest things for Christmas this year... believe it or not... he wanted a HIPPOPOTAMUS! Can you believe it?!?! So, Santa brought him a stuffed hippo and the book "All I want for Christmas is a Hippo". His other big present (besides all his other toys and clothes) was a Nintendo DS. He sure enjoys that thing.
I had a VERY blessed Christmas as well. My husband truly cares about my passion and the things I really hold dear in my life. He went and out did himself this year. He bought me a brand new Cannon IS Rebel camera and an extra lens as well. YES!!! I know!!! He is GREAT!!! I will attach some pics I took Christmas morning with it. :)

Basketball: Well I posted earlier that Bradyn was playing football. This time we decided to try basketball. He did pretty good for his first time out. He learned that basketball is alot different from football. It takes alot of coordination and you don't just go and tackle the ball! lol we had lots of skinned up knees, but I think he enjoyed it.

Bradyn's 4th Birthday: Holy smokes does time fly by. I could hardly believe it when my son was blowing out 4 candles on his cake this year. WOW!!! Well, Bradyn got into pirates for some time. He decided he wanted a pirate party. How fun does that sound? Let me tell you... it was pretty fun to coordinate. Bradyn dressed like a pirate and also brought extra pirate attire (bandanna's hats, and eye patches) for the other kids to dress up too. We had the party at Gage Bowl. It was so funny watching all those kids bowl! We had a pirate ship cake that turned out GREAT! Bradyn even got mad when we had to cut it... he wanted to play with it. It was a good thing mommy and daddy got him a play pirate ship for his present. All in all I think Bradyn had a great time and got lots of really cool gifts!

Thanksgiving 2008: well... what is thanksgiving for besides giving thanks? Stuffing your tummies to the brim and watching a BUNCH of football. That is exactly what we did this year. We went to several family gatherings and ate till we could hardly sit up. lol... not kidding! Here are some fall photos of Bradyn.
WOW!!!!

Well, it is crazy how time flys. I just noticed that my last post was from October 2008. There has been many new family get togethers, holidays, and of course lots of pictures. Well lets start from where I left off on my last post.
Halloween: Bradyn just loves this holiday. He really liked his costume this year because we are really starting to like SUPERHEROS!!! Bradyn wanted to be BUZZ LIGHTYEAR! He made a very cute superhero I must say myself. This kid always knows how to make me smile. He couldn't wait for his costume to arrive in the mail (yes I know... I am not that creative enough to make a costume). So once that package arrived he wripped it open and tried it on. He wanted to go run outside so bad and try it out. So I let him... he jumps off the front porch and falls down. He was a little upset that he couldn't fly! What a silly littly boy!
